Ok, So it was over a month ago!!

We have been rather busy since then but that's no excuse I guess!

Back in May, forty keen photographers converged on the World Horse Welfare site, Snetterton and took part in an Equestrian Photography day, hosted by TFC, Canon and Real Time Imaging.

The weather stayed fine, two of us got sunburnt, (yes we know we should have worn a hat!), and the group as a whole took over 11GB of images.

The World Horse Welfare site was a fantastic venue and the staff worked very hard during the day to make sure everyone got the images they wanted. Thank you to them and the grooms and also of course all the horses involved!

Congratulations to Steve Hart who won the Canon G9 camera for the best image taken on the day!

Big thanks go out to Steve Dawe of Real Time Imaging for his insight and knowledgeable advice, Steve and John from Canon UK Ltd for the equipment, support and printing and of course, Sav and Brian from TFC for keeping it all held together and on time.

Hopes are that we will host a similar event, or events in 2009. Watch this space!!
